Return Policy
At ALX Arms, customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. Due to the nature of our products and strict legal regulations, certain items are subject to specific return and warranty guidelines. Please review our policy carefully before completing your purchase.
Firearms Policy (New & Used)
All sales are final once legal transfer is complete. Firearms—whether new or used—cannot be returned or exchanged after the customer has taken physical possession from ALX Arms or an FFL dealer.
Pre-Transfer Inspections: Please inspect your firearm thoroughly before completing the transfer paperwork and taking possession. If you discover an issue or defect prior to taking possession, contact us immediately.
Non-Returnable Items
To ensure quality, safety, and compliance with federal regulations, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
Ammunition: For safety reasons, all ammunition sales are strictly final. We cannot accept returns on ammunition under any circumstances, even if the packaging is unopened.
Used Items: All sales of used firearms, optics, gear, and accessories are final.
NFA / Class 3 Items: All suppressors and NFA items are non-returnable once paperwork processing has begun or transfer has occurred.
Returnable Accessories & Gear
Unused, unopened accessories (such as select optics, weapon lights, mounts, or soft goods) may be eligible for return or exchange at our sole discretion.
Items must be in 100% resellable condition with all original packaging, manuals, and included accessories intact.

Deposits & Layaway
Deposits: Deposits placed on items or custom orders are non-refundable. However, at our discretion, store credit or transfer of a deposit to a different in-stock item may be approved.
Layaway: Payments made toward a layaway balance are non-refundable. If you choose to cancel a layaway agreement, store credit or reallocation of paid funds toward a different item may be granted entirely at our discretion.
Warranty Coverage & Defect Handling
New Firearms & Accessories
New products are covered under their respective manufacturer warranties.
Because manufacturers are best equipped to resolve technical issues and defects quickly, warranty claims usually need to be addressed directly with the product’s manufacturer.
Our Support: While warranty repair/replacement goes through the manufacturer, the ALX Arms team is happy to assist you by providing invoices, manufacturer contact information, or guidance to make the process as smooth as possible.
Minor Defects & Direct Swaps
On a case-by-case basis and at our sole discretion, if a new item arrives with a minor, easily addressable defect, we may allow an immediate swap for a brand-new replacement. In these instances, ALX Arms will handle the warranty claim directly with our supplier or the manufacturer.
Used Firearms & Equipment
Sold AS-IS: All used firearms, optics, and gear are sold strictly AS-IS with no express or implied warranties.
While our staff does a thorough job inspecting, documenting, and describing every used item, ALX Arms does not offer guarantees on performance or longevity after transfer.
